-Graveyard(scary, old, worn down, not well maintained, off on outskirts of town)

-Broken fountain (the one you throw pennies in) the water doesn’t work anymore

-Train tracks (divides town into east/west)

-community pool (closes at night, teenagers work lifeguard shifts, public with entry fee)

-abandoned insane asylum (Not really approached by residents, very old and was the actual starting
point of the town- as it was built to house workers, but it’s now just left in the woods.)

-woods (surrounding parts of the perimeter of the city)

-creek (runs throughout the woods)

-factory that makes plastic in the outskirts of the town, people can only see the tops of the build and
smoke through the trees (Constantly billowing smoke, smells terrible, an impossible to ignore
presence in the town due to its size)

-water fountain at the park

-town square (with the fountain)

-statue of town founder in the town square named “John Deere” (Major landmark,
only memorial within the town)

-community garden (between buildings, used by apartment residents to grow plants etc.)

-amphitheater (beside the square where people can go hangout, put on shows etc.)

-playground at the park

-flagpole (nearby statue that’s on town square, landmark as it’s really centrally located)

-annual fair “The National Sunflower Festival” (Happens in summer, a really large event due to
its national scale, founded as there used to be a lot of sunflowers in the area, but there aren’t
nearly as many as before as they decreased alongside the decline of the town)

-storage units (commonly used by residents as apartments aren’t always enough space,
meetings may happen as people feel need to uncover stuff. Occasionally occupied by homeless)
